Warm, exotic and exciting. That is this surf trip in Morocco! Eat tagine, surf the Moroccan waves and treat yourself on a hammam. We’ll travel along the coast with a small group to visit Agadir, Taghazoute and Imsouane.

 

An experienced surf guide will show you the beautiful surf spots like Banana’s, Mysteries and the ultimate longboard waves in Imsouane. Surf, relax and enjoy the beautiful culture of Morocco. We ll also go to a few secret, more deserted surfspots more north of Imsouane, to surf by ourselves..  And we ll spend a day in Essouira to experience the beautiful culture of this typical Moroccan town. 

 

Improve your surf skills or learn to surf in Morocco. Our surf guide Natasha Smit has been to Taghazoute and Imsouane many times, so she knows exactly where catch the good waves. 

 

This surftrip to Morocco is also a group experience. Together we 'll eat, surf and look at the sunset. You 'll have fun with your new surf buddies and enjoy the great ambiance that our surfcamp in Imsouane has to offer.

Tasha’s Surfcamp is about passion. Passion for surfing, for the ocean and for the people that we work with. We love surfing and we love to teach surfing. It’s not about performance, but its about having fun in the ocean. When you have fun, you will improve your surfing for sure. We work with small groups and we want to give personal attention to all of you.

 

Tasha’s Surfcamp was founded by Natasha Smit, a Dutch surfer and coach from Scheveningen. She has travelled the world and gave classes in many places, but she decided to create her own surfschool in Scheveningen.  Backed by our foundation we organize surf and yoga retreats in Scheveningen, Texel and other countries like Portugal, Morocco and France.

This surfcamp is fun, warm and adventurous. The ambiance good, while the structure is free and flexible. Every night we will decide where we are going to surf the next day. To find the best waves and have the most fun. 

 

We are going roadtripping! We will go surfing on different surfspots around the Moroccan coastline! Go surfing in the morning or do a sunset session in the evening. It’s all possible. We will look for the best waves and drive to different surf spots. Your surfguide knows exactly where to be with the right wind and waves.

 

Learn to surf

We will teach you to surf! If you are a beginner you can also  join this surfcamp and learn to surf. You ll get surf classes and we will teach you the basics of surfing.

We like to keep our groups small.  And give our students the attention 

& the care that they deserve. It's about improving and mostly about having fun. 

 

 

Come and stay in this beautiful hotel Imsouane Parc,

that has a view over the waves in the bay

 

During seven days we will stay in the beautiful Imsouane Parc Hotel;

a Hotel that has a view over the famous longboard break and is on walking distance of the surf beach (la Cathedrale) . 

It has Moroccan traditions, but its pretty luxurious. They also serve good food. You”ll love it! :))

Surfing in Morocco; that’s something that you want to experience. 

 

After spending a few days in Imsouane, we 'll travel more north and surf some secret, more deserted spots in Morocco. 

We ll also pay a visit to Essouaira to see the aliveness and culture of this beautiful Morrocan town.

 

 

Frequently asked questions

 

 

 

Can I also join when I m still a beginner surfer?

Yes you can! We 'll teach you the basics of surfing and we 'll teach you how to stand up on your board. We 'll make 2 different group: a beginner's surf group and a more advanced, intermediate surf group.

Is the food included in the price? 

No, the food doesn't cost much in Morocco and its very cheap to go out to dinner. Therefor we prefer to eat out in the several local restaurants that are there. 

Is it safe to travel to Morocco?

Yes it's very safe. You do need a Covid vaccination and a PCR test to enter the country right now, though. Please also check the travel conditions in your own country. 

Do you pick me up from airport?

Yes we do. We do all want to travel on the same time. We saw some good flight Brussels to Agadir (150 euro's for a return flight).. Please ask Natasha about the flight details.  we 'll only drive 1 time to pick everybody up and 1 time to bring everybody back to the airport. It takes 2 hours to drive from Imsouane to the airport. Please discuss your travels plans with Natasha and coordinate your arrival.

Excellent surfschool, the teachers don't only teach you to get up on your board, there is a strong focus on mind set, reading the ocean and overall surf safety. So much so, there is now a dedicated safety class with recovery training. Teachers are friendly and make sure to give everyone advice.

Awesome surfschool with very Good organisaties and experienced instructors with lessons For all levels in small groups. So you got a lot of coaching during the lessons. They also create a nice surfcommunity with the surfcamps. Looking forward to the next surfcamp!!
